Hi, I’m Dylan, and I teach English online.

I am a Londoner and I cycle all over the city, like I have done throughout my entire life. I like to know every short-cut the way a cabbie (a London taxi cab driver) knows every route by getting to know every street.

I also lived in Spain for five years - Catalonia and Barcelona were my first homes away from home - my Spanish speaking friends have enriched my life experience and I continue to improve my own Spanish language skills. Half of my family is in Italy, so I feel that Europe is my home.

Reading books from all cultures, cinema from the silent era to the present day, teaching and art are my passions. As an artist, I love to work in the field of drawing, watercolour, model making and filmmaking.

For many years I taught private classes in English literature to help students get through their English exams specifically understanding the keys to British writing - Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, British First World War poetry - and for the last 20 years I have been teaching drawing lessons in film schools to students who want to become film directors.
